    Evening.Ā

I hope everyone is doing ok despite any medical stuff or ailments, special thoughts to @coccinella as you go through a rough week.Ā

Still pretty chilly here so I’m hoping it bucks-up as we go into May. The lighter days are great though and are extremely helpful for getting up and out in the morning. I think my natural body clock is definitely ā€˜owl’. Not full night shift owl, but certainly not a morning person.Ā

Have a comfy, cosy and relaxing evening all.Ā

That looks very smart @tui34. Will you have a seating area there?

Packing is nearly done and my car is nearly loaded. We'll leave late morning.

Thank you @Lizzie27 and @Busy-Lizzie Ā It wasn't really hard work - just long. Ā I had lovely birdsong - robins and swallows to encourage me from the olive tree.

Bonne route Busy Lizzie for tomorrow and the weekend. Ā

And a very good evening to everyone.

Hope it all goes well for you @coccinella with all the coming tests and procedures. My thoughts are with you.
Great idea Dove for a special day out with Rob visiting friends, I'm sure he enjoyed himself.
Bon voyage to Busy and OH tomorrow.
    Have a lovely evening everyone.

We are here in sunny Queensland with a massive task ahead. Our son has a new house on a small development and has volunteered his dad to help him lay out the garden. This is the view from the bedroom window this morning. We've got six weeks to make a difference

Wow, that's a job and a half! Good luck with that!

It's definitely going to be a steep learning curve as he wants the planting to be mostly natives, house backs onto a flood plain with a permanent creek at the bottom. Fortunately there are several nurseries in the area that specialise in natives so we know where to go for advice.
First job is to put up the pool fence, the pool can't be finished off until the fence is in place.Ā

Good Forkers I slept last night! 7 HOURS! I wonder if it was the long walk followed by good music instead of the usual TV watching. Or maybe radiation agrees with me 🤣

I feel much better this morning, the sun is shining and I have some garden duties to do. Tomorrow is a very early start for the scintigraphy, I have to be there for 7.30. Fingers crossed I will behave as it is very claustrophobic.Ā

@Suesyn we will enjoy seeing pics of the change.Ā

    Have a good day all.Ā

    Good morning Forkers et al!

A still, warm morning - almost tempted to sit outside and watch the swallows dipping and swooping and investigating spots around here to nest. Ā It's going to be a Bobby Dazzler today apparently, with temperatures soaring. Ā So I'm off to Lidl asap.

Relaxing day today after yesterday's efforts. Ā Staining the deck, walking the dog for an hour and an hour's exercise class Barre au Sol last night. Ā I slept well last night!! Ā I either do everything or nothing.

Bonza @Suesyn Ā  Ā That's a job and a half. Ā At least it isn't SO hot - but I'm pretty certain Ā that it's pretty warm - what are the temperatures? Ā Whereabouts in Queensland is your family?

    How are you @coccinella ?

Today's expression is: Ā A la Saint Zita, le froid ne dure pas. Ā  Hmmm Ā I don't know about that. Ā This warm weather is very tempting to get plants into the garden. Ā We have the Saints Glaces mid May and Les Cavaliers to get passed yet. Ā Patience! Ā

I hope all those with aches and pains can cope with the day!!

I am ok Tui, thank you. Always worried about what can come out from the test tomorrow but happy that I slept well and that the sun is shining.Ā

Quick get to Lidl before the heat rises šŸ˜‰
