Brilliant, absolutely perfect @chicky. I no longer feel guilty! Actually I would love to have a copy of it to hang on the wall.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
We had a good day yesterday … GP was happy with son and said he can start some part time working from home soon, so that’ll stop him going stir crazy and help him feel more like himself. 😊
    A lovely lunch here
https://www.farmcafe.co.uk/ … it’s managed by son’s friend (the one with the 4 yr old son who’s a Star Wars fan) … and then we popped in to see my bro who’s a bit of a poorly chap these days, so it was good to see him and SIL.

Today we’re off to the Burns Unit clinic at Broomfield … GP says son will soon be able to drive himself!

Some people can’t stop themselves, can they Chicky!  I’ve had a bit of that over the years. Best to shrug it off.

     Good morning early birds!

All good news on here:  Rob can start some part time work and get out on his own.  @chicky is a member of the "housework can wait" club (Family members of the female kind, walk in here and look first at the floor tiles and then do a quick scan of windows etc with such a "face").  I think gardeners in general prefer attacking a bed of weeds than wielding a vacuum cleaner!!  I love the poem Chicky!  It's so true.

I'm sure your visit was appreciated @D0rdogne_Damsel  Pity isn't a good thing, but maybe you could do one "yes" and one "no" and then take it from there!!  It' all in the training.  Hope the 11th May goes well for you.

It was warm yesterday, but not hot.  The mercury rose to 24°C but it was sort of overcast and breezy so not uncomfortable.  I transplanted 2 cucumber plants that were needy and some basil plants.  They look ok this morning but we aren't out of the woods yet re the weather.

I wish you all a good day.

Good morning everyone,  great to hear better news from many of you.
Glad I ignored the weather forecast yesterday and got to the plots first thing and got the remainder of the spuds in the ground.  They are in the area that I have been tackling for some weeks. This is a very small sample of what I have been digging out.

We have been out the past two evenings,  a music recital at the southbank on weds, and to a recording of the R4 news quiz last night.

    Morning all.

That looks a big job @Allotment Boy.

At least you have  a date now @D0rdogne_Damsel, that's a positive sign, also a genuine excuse for the lateness.

The drive yesterday was OK, apart from the rain on the M4, lots of spray from lorries. Took about 4h30. Good to see our friends, lots of chat. Lots of politic arguing but it doesn't stop our friendship. They are very right wing and we lean more towards the left. They are ardent Brexiteers, we are Remainers.

Looks a bit gloomy outside. There is a lovely view of a small river and across fields. I wonder what we will do today.

11th May is not so far away @D0rdogne_Damsel - you'll get there!  And you are such a kind hearted soul, hope your ex appreciated your visit.

So pleased to read of Rob's excellent progress @Dovefromabove.  That really is good news and wonderful that he will soon be able to drive himself and start earning some pennies working from home.

I was all aches and pains after a day at the laptop yesterday.  More today - just waiting for feedback and comments from the rest of the team before I submit the bid.
