Afternoon all, it's been a lovely sunny and warm day, although it started out very foggy.
I woke up early so had an early breakfast (for me!) as I wanted to spend the day in the garden. Thankfully NDN's workmen didn't turn up so it was rather peaceful. Spent the day stuffing bindweed into glass jars filled with weedkiller, very tedious but I hope it will do the job as I've got yards of the dratted stuff.

I was pleased to hear that my friend tested negative for Covid this morning, she's spent a very lonely week at home feeling very fatigued.

Hope Busy-Lizzie has had a good crossing and is on her way to her daughters. I know Lacock very well - one of my favourite places.

Sorry to hear Rob is finding some grafts painful but hopefully painkillers work well.

Saw an online pic of a very fat cat @Pat E, all of 40 lbs apparently! He did look rather smug though.

    Yay!!!

@WonkyWomble says it’s all very celebratory down her end of Ipswich … she lives very close to Portman Road 😂 🎉

Not in France yet, catching overnight ferry. Waiting at the port.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Sorry, my mistake, bon voyage @Busy-Lizzie. Are you sailing from Poole?

Morning everyone.  More drizzle this morning but I could hear very heavy falling rain  through the night.
It took a fair while for me to get to sleep with her on my lap but. Eventually she started to slide to one side so I sneakily slid a bit further on to my side and she got the message and I was able to slip out from under her.😁. She didn’t move all night.

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hope everyone’s had a restful night.
It’s a clear dry morning here in Norfolk although the forecast speaks of fog in a little while. The bedroom window is open and we can hear the woodpigeons cooing in the wooded area of mature oak and ash over the way and the
    jackdaws are chak-chakking nearby.
    Have a good journey back @Busy-Lizzie 😊

It’s been raining raining all day. Both dams that we can see from the house are overflowing.  The four out the back can’t be seen until we drive out there- maybe tomorrow

Goodness me @Pat E … that looks a lot of rain for Australia… although a perfectly normal looking day for us here in the UK of course 😉  ☔️ 🌧

Looking at that map reminds me that my Father was born at Braidwood, his mother at Araluen and my sister and I in Ulladulla.  Strange to think I’m back in the old region after living as far away as Darwin in the NT. 🙄

Good morning and good afternoon Forkers

it is a sunny day, hopefully it will last. A bit cold for the time of year, jet's stream's fault apparently. Son arrived without delays yesterday and now is already at work on his final project for his masters. Mum has been on cooking and washing machine duties all day yesterday, but it's OK. It is a ray of sunshine to have him here 🥰.

The day will be spent lazing about and a short walk. Have a nice Sunday all.
