I have been sick all night. By 5 am I was vomiting bile. Got a splitting headache. It seems a reaction to the injection yesterday. Since I have the appointment for the second one today I am going to ask if I really need two. Fed up.
Oh dear, poor coccinella. Some of these interventions are no joke. Do you have someone at home to look after you, so you can just loll about feeling sorry for yourself while you get through this? Supposedly better, and quicker, than withdrawing thyroid replacement medication before treatment or investigations, so hopefully you can look forward to feeling normal again by the end of the week. Stay strong.
Oh @coccinella sorry to hear youāre having such a grim time. š¤ it can be sorted out š¤Ā
And Iām glad to hear the new meds are helping at least one of the problems @Hostafan1 Ā š¤Ā
Hope the innards start behaving themselves very soon. š¤Ā
Iāve just clipped sonās hair on a grade 1 in the hope that his new smaller dressings stay put. The larger ones were right around the back of his head and stuck onto the sides of his forehead but now he only needs smaller patches they tend to come unstuck at night and then the special Manuka honey gel gets smeared all over his pillows and his head at night. Fingers crossed this will work š¤Ā

glad you're getting sorted @Hostafan1, hope your tummy settles soon.
Do hope you can also get sorted @coccinella, that sounds awful.
Would a beanie hat worn overnight help for your son? @Dovefromabove. He needs dressings to keep the dressings on! Bit of a problem that.
We had a rude awakening by the telephone this morning although it was 9 am. I hate it when that happens, I was in a very deep sleep after being awake earlier at 6.30 am. Fortunately it was a very pleasant warmish day once it got warmed up so I was able to get outside and do more gardening whilst OH cut the lawns. We've got Green Thumb coming again to give us some advice tomorrow, it's full of moss, weeds and fungi. I'm pleased as buds are now appearing on some of the roses.
Gosh, just looked out of the front window and two big red balloons are sailing over the horizon!
Sea bass for us tonight so must go and put the dinner on.
Sending sympathy to @coccinella. I hope the 2nd one, if you had it, isn't so bad.
I went to the SM while OH was at physio to buy stuff for us and my family in France, Marmite, golden syrup, Shreddies for son, big boxes of tea bags for daughters etc. Wanted Croft sherry but there wasn't any.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thanks @Lizzie27 š heāsĀ tried a beanieĀ but he gets too hot ⦠he has some netting caps from the hospital but as he has very new skin over his scalp he has found they irritate and cause small sore spots, so weāve found clipping the hair from around the wound Ā and so far the dressings are sticking š¤Ā

Sorry to hear of your troubles @coccinella hope you are better soon. Figners cross @Hostafan1 it is set to warm up by the weekend. I agree we need it, getting fed up with bringing plants out and back in every day at the moment.
