Fingers crossed all is well @Hostafan1.

Since I discovered I can no longer tolerate gluten I find myself often reaching for the Rennies.  Sometimes I don't know why and think there must have been gluten hidden in something I've eaten.  Other times it is because I have been unable to resist that delicious looking Danish pastry...

    Good afternoon,

well, it has now brightened up a lot, though it’s still very breezy and chilly. Too breezy to do anything in the garden (other than retrieve and set upright a pot that was tipped over during the night when it was very windy).

I hope that all of you with abdominal problems soon improve and that you, @Hostafan1 don’t have to wait long for the blood test results. I’m pleased that you listened to the advice of fellow Forkers and contacted your surgery - 4 days of pain is too long.

Charlie looks as if he is having a really enjoyable time @D0rdogne_Damsel.

You're obviously feeling better today @Hostafan1 if you've just moved that! Hope your blood test results will be ok.

Not done much today, don't feel very energetic and the weather's a bit iffy to say the least although better than yesterday. Managed to weed the last terrace bed in the back garden but that's all and done some ironing.

@Busy-Lizzie and @floralies, my sympathies for your stomach problems. Might I ask if are you both taking Alendronic Acid for osteoporosis by any chance?

No @Lizzie27, haven't heard of it. Don't know whether I have osteoporosis.

Thanks for replying @Busy-Lizzie and @floralies. I was just interested as I had been taking the Alendronic Acid for 15 years and stopped for a 'holiday' last September whereupon my stomach problems similar to yours promptly got a lot better. Might have been just a coincidence but I somehow doubt it. I was just about to be investigated for IBS.

Hope you both feel a lot better soon.

    Morning Forkers,

weather seems better today, let's hope it stays. Nothing special to report other than I am going to do some food shopping at my favourite supermarché which is called Grand Frais. Those of you living in France will know it.
My back is a tad better today but will not be working in the garden just in case. I will sit and admire the mirabelle tree in bloom.

Hi @Lizzie27. Just in case you are interested. I couldn't tolerate those pills because of my stomach. So I was given to do an infusion (about 20 minutes) called Aclasta once a year. Usually is a 3 years' run but I took 4, I mean the doctor decided to give me a fourth one.
A friend does something else every month (I think) called Prolia which is a simple injection.  We both seem to have benefited from these two different treatments. Oh! and I also take vit D 3000 IE per day for life.

@Hostafan1 fingers crossed for you. And well done for moving that banana 💪

@Pat E where are you in Australia?
