4 days pain is too many without seeking advice, @Hostafan1

Get thee to thy doctor … or ring 111

Do as you're told @Hostafan1, they know what they're talking about. Even if it's just wind, or muscle ache at least you'll know you're OK.

I went to 3 places this morning to look for round hanging baskets, no luck. Only got half round ones to put against walls. No nepeta Purrsian Blue either, no nepetas at all. Maybe it's too early. None of the alpines I wanted for the gravel slope either, only armeria, iberis, aubretia and saxifrage, all of which I have already.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

@Busy-Lizzie It is facet joint syndrome with radiating pain towards the hips. I had a steroid injection 2 months ago, helped a bit but now I am back to where I started.

@Allotment Boy well done on your bargain. No person of our "ilk" goes to a Garden sale and buys nothing 🤣

hello @Hostafan1. Hope you get better soon, maybe even sooner if you see a doctor.

@Yviestevie. Cold here too, electric blanket had to be turned on again last night.

    Evening all.

I was on a course today (paediatric life support) so shattered now! Going to do an easy meal tonight - bacon and eggs maybe?

The doctors aren’t striking in Wales. (Deleted my views).

I’m pretty chilly this evening - the weather needs to buck up! Leccy blanket still in operation here too!

I hope everyone is ok. Get a check-up Hosta!

Charlie has every reason to be happy with his souvenirs, glad he's enjoying himself.
Well done for getting to the Doctors Hosta, hope they can help find out what is causing the trouble for you.
Hope everyone is managing to keep warm (and dry), I thought April was supposed to be a time of sunny spells and gentle showers? Wind and rain all day here but no more damage thank goodness. Apparently there has been some snow reported to the south east of us - no wonder it has been so cold.

Charlie's looking very good in his Ferrari souvenirs, my OH is quite envious (he's a F1 fan as well).

DIL cooked us salmon fishcakes (courtesy of Waitrose as she didn't have much time) with a lovely mixed salad, followed by strawberries, raspberries and yoghurt ( I had icecream with my fruit)  washed down with a cold Picpoul de pinet. Fairly full now.

We had torrential rain and high winds nearly all day so no gardening. It's still blowing a hoolie here though not so bad as Devon and Cornwall apparently. Hope my daughter's okay.

I'm surprised Welch doctors are not striking @AuntyRach, hadn't realized it was only in England. They do deserve a pay rise though not as much as they want.

Glad you've had some medical attention @Hostafan1, hope the blood tests come back ok.

That is quick knitting @Dovefromabove, Rob will need a nice thick jumper if this weather continues!

Hope they get you sorted @Hostafan1 🤞🏻😘

Went to Florence for the first time last year @D0rdogne_Damsel and was blown away.  Glad Charlie is having a great time.

Went to London last night to see Sheridan Smith in Shirley Valentine -what a great actress and what a performance.  Unlike the film, the play is a monologue- 2 hours on her own and she was amazing.  We laughed, we cried and we smelled the egg and chips cooking 🍳

Garden Club tonight and a great lecture on propagation.  Always a bit of a stress to organise these things, but the number of positive comments tonight makes it all worthwhile.  Best get on with the 2024 programme now …… no peace for the wicked😈😈😈😈
