I've had a gardening day. Planted 12 plants in the flower borders and did some weeding this morning. This afternoon I spent over 2 hours in the vegetable garden it's full of massive weeds. It will need a lot more work. I'm a bit stiff, hope my knee doesn't complain tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Biglad, handy brother will be all smiles today after Everton's wonderful win against Brighton yesterday.
Busy, well done on all of your work yesterday. I think that your knee might have a bit of a grumble this morning - bit like my back. Easy does it in the veg plot today!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning everyone. I’ve had the first cup of tea and some breakfast. I need to take down and hang some curtains today. I’ll see if I can manage. Awake all night, worried about Dad. The nurse is due to see him this morning. He will need dressings every day. They’re in a right old state.
Good morning Rosie. I am sure that you are deeply concerned about your Dad but try and get some rest yourself today - in the grand scheme of things, the curtains can wait.

Morning everyone, Sorry not read back, but have read this mornings. @wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 hope your Dad is ok Rosie. Reading your post this morning do you mean his legs are bad again. Sending best wishes. And by @Ladybird4 post sounds like @Busy-Lizzie has a painful knee. Hope it heals soon.
It's been quite stressful here, but at last we have a date for the funeral. Still a few weeks to go though. Take care everyone
Knee hurt in the night, took painkillers, but it's not too bad now.
It rained in the night, raining now and forecast says it will rain all day.
We are going to a GC to look for hose attachments for the huge waterbutt tap and a leaky hose for the veg garden.
The afternoon I'm going to a meeting of the Rose Group part of the local, mostly English, gardening club. We have been asked to bring a few roses but mine aren't yet out.

Good morning Busy, you weren't there when I posted to SGL. I hope that you find all you are looking for. It looks as though you are in for a pleasant afternoon.
