    Good morning,
sending best wishes to all of you with poorly knees and other difficulties.
So far it’s sunny and mild here so I’ve got cloth things out drying. Couldn’t do anything in the garden yesterday as it was too wet, but did manage to do some on Sunday. Everything is growing so fast just now of course, the grass is already needing another trim. I love this time of year.

    Morning all.
OH and I suffered real fatigue yesterday, couldn't do anything. This morning we're feeling better and at least have some energy.

Nice to see you @star gaze lily, SGL, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Very hard and stressful.

Red Maple, nice to see you again. The sun was out earlier but we've just had a downpour of rain so everywhere is soaking wet again.

Rubee, hope your OH doesn't have too much pain today when the bandages get changed.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • LB I took two pairs of curtains down put up new ones, stripped the sofa down, ironed the others, put those on, brushed and vacuumed a throw, emptied and relocated a book case, filled that back up, cleaned the litter tray, had some soup, washed up and now I’m going to bed for a while.  Lily how lovely to hear from you, sending hugs.

My goodness Rosie, you've been super busy! Well done on getting through that long list of jobs to do. You deserve a sleep now.
We went to recycling centre this morning and got caught up in a downpour of rain. It was hammering down. We got soaked needless to say.

@Red maple, I love this time of year too. My favourite season I think.

I am just going to nip across to Jack's to take him his tomato plants and catch up on his gossip. I did some work in the garden this morning and then my back protested so I came in to give it a rest. I am driving handy brother up to Ambleside tomorrow so we can have a brief catch up with our youngest sister who is in a holiday cottage there with her family and I don't want to risk my back being a problem.

We've had rain on and off all day . Now we're in the middle of a thunderstorm and lightening and the rain is bouncing off the roads. Typical, our new window cleaner came just after dinner🙄....during a sunny, dry period.

Hi folks,  I've been to art class this morning and then popped into Besties for a cuppa.  Haven't really done any gardening over the past few days apart from checking on seedlings.  Enjoyed a night out with Secondborn and her partner yesterday.  Went for a curry and then had a nice long chat at home over a couple of drinks.
Hugs for those that need them.
