*spoiler* it isn't Monty. Someone on Facebook uploaded the bits from the Chelsea guide. The rose looks nice and I don't know who this chap is. Very Jude...
I have found it useful because people usually upload pictures of the full plant, and all the different parts of the plant, rather than just closeups of the flowers. It has helped me get a better idea of how things will actually look in the garden.
I don't speak German though, so have to translate the pages.
@Discandied I look at that site sometimes. I peruse the Rose Catalogue sections.. I enjoy looking at some old rose catalogues, UK ones from the past.. There's certainly a lot of information in it, and lovely pictures of roses..
I like that Discandied, luckily I do speak German so holler if you need help.
So the teaser photos by DA were accurate and give the reason why Jude was retired so puzzlingly. What type of pink was the other one? I think it was pink. Nothing is easily kept secret now Edit. Found @Mr. Vine Eye 's image of teaser.
Is that the third yellow/orange rose in a row for DA?
For reasons I don’t understand but will not question, the ants have opted to farm aphids on the nettles rather than my roses!!! Spotted it today as I was doing some pottering
'Souvenir de St. Anne's' Raised bed Both roses there ready to flower ('Crepuscule', 'Albrighton Rambler') Geranium Confused hydrangea 'Daredevil' and the first foxglove opening
More opened today, I saw the firs ton Rhapsody in Blue. But didn't get ahcne to take any photos. These are from yesterday. It's very hard to find time for anything much at the moment. Little lad is being very demanding!

The geranium cantabrigiense are going for world domination this year. Really tall and starting to fill the bed.. think I'll be doing some division later this year. Looking forward to seeing them in flower though.
I think I'm going to have to start cutting Malvern Hills back and starting again at the end of this year. It's starting to go bare on the bottom half. Same with the Generous Gardener.
The other roses are looking nice and full though.
Aquilegia at my plot. Very pleased with how sizeable the plants have got this year. These were all grown from seeds I collect off my Wilko 'green apples' ones. Arthur Bell on the left.
I harvested some comfrey from my three established plants. Last year I carefully stripped the leaves off and just used those in my press. But I'm experimenting to see if the stems will break down ok too. Would save a fair bit of effort!
Have several plants now from divisions and these ones have started from one inch root cuttings I took in March.
Hoping to use the comfrey as my main plant food for the roses.
