Thanks @WAMS but I am not a fan/user of EBay, I am in no rush so happy to wait for bare root season to come around again.
@Marlorena thanks for the name, its only been in the garden, unnamed, for 10/15 years 😄. I will take your advice and pinch out the flower buds this year before I plant it out next year. Thankyou.
Starlight Symphony, I forget who wanted to see one. I choose a white climber as this faces east and is a dark wall and dark corner. I think it works, it does have a clematis Blue Angel growing through it but it's group 3 and not flowering yet.
@ciaranmcgrenera With that mix of colours, I think a rose like 'Boscobel', in a group of 3 would go well, because it has an unusual mix of salmon to pink, and I just think it needs that kind of arrangement close by, and types of plants you have, to do it justice.
I used to have a group of 3 'Boscobels'.. I had to downsize, that's the only reason I don't have them now..
There are lots of others suitable of course.. this is only a suggestion..
Boscobel looks like it would be a nice one @Marlorena , I had been thinking about something like Desdemona, but that looks better I think.
This is my favourite rose picture since joining the forum. Just uncredible Rojas. Yes I would be a bit miffed if my family were not fully appreciating this stunner I have similar issues but I am blessed with a (just turned) 3 year old son who LOVES the garden. We have over 40 varities of rose and he can name all of them. Toddler minds are crazy - like a sponge.
@Mr. Vine Eye that LoS is amazing. Think that is going on my wish list after seeing that and the many other great pictures from others.
@Marlorena - great list. Is this an all time list or ones you currently have list? I thought you would rank your Felicia above Cornelia for the best hybrid musk? I must say your Cornelia is stunning but so is your Felicia when I looked back through previous threads through the search. I love pink roses so I think Scarborough Fair is certainly on my wish list too. I should have got Cornelia as my second musk instead of BB after seeing yours.
Not much new from me. Tons of buds but not many flowers:
Perfect bloom on GT:
Ena Harkness. Lovely rich velvety hybrid tea. Very bright red. Scent is lovely. Old rose like Gertrude J but not as strong and sweeter notes.
PAoK - much better scent this year. How do other people rate the fragrance on this rose?
Champagne Moment. No flowers but cut hard back to 3ft by 2ft in winter and it is now 6ft average height with the centre stems over 7ft! Also 4ft wide. Definitely way more buds than last year. Must be 300+ easily with some stems holding 15+ each!
So when I bought giant holyhock seeds and they boasted 10-12ft height I didn't believe it. Not sure on the height but the leaves you could currently cut off and use as parasols so maybe they do get that tall
Also, the furthest I have ever got to with a rose cutting- 3 buds! The fun is I purposely didn't label them and only took cuttings of ones I really wanted more of so excited to see which one this is. By the foliage possibly Champagne M:

and again, could a rose thrive in shade, meaning less than 2 hours of full sun a day?
I'm surprised they do it, to be honest Nollie, and wouldn't be surprised if they cease doing so..

Rosy Cushion, my youngest granddaughter is called Rosie so I had to get this one. (It could have been Rambling Rosie but this flowers all summer).
@ciaranmcgrenera
Yes I think so too... it's quite strongly fragrant.. best of luck with your choice anyhow..
@LateralBreaks
You have a good collection of roses.. how many do you have, please?..
