    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
my son works for an entertainments industry logistics and merchandise company, managing their fleet of tour vehicles used by bands when touring the UK and Europe. He is also a guitarist and guitar tech, and runs stages at festivals, and also works as tour manager for various performers/bands.

I'm sure your thoroughness will pay dividends @Allotment Boy.  We had mare's tail on our plot before we gave it up.  And our previous one was on heavy London clay - we could have made pots from it!  Slugs were our main enemy there.

Hope your shoulder feels better soon @WonkyWomble - quite understand your need to keep working and I'm sure your clients appreciate it.  You are lucky you didn't break anything when opting for shoulder over face in your mishap.  Having broken my wrist tripping over a kerb a couple of years ago I'm very wary these days.

Lovely of Rob's workmates to present you with flowers @Dovefromabove!

A busy day in the garden with a delightful break when the even more delightful @WonkyWomble called for a natter.
I hope you're all having a good weekend so far.

Evening all, that sounds promising @Dovefromabove. Hope you enjoy Wonky Womble's visit tomorrow. You must be getting exhausted with the travelling to and from Chelmsford, how long does the journey take?

You were lucky there @WonkyWomble, sounds like an accident waiting to happen, rather like mine did. Hope your shoulder's not too painful today.

We've had a very enjoyable lunch party out at a nice pub celebrating my friend's 80th with most of her family and friends, about 30 in all, including her three great grandchildren. The little one year old kept trying to escape, he found his feet at Xmas and his parents now have great difficulty getting him to sit down. Birthday cake did the trick this time!

It was really quite cold today but I thought I'd better dress up a bit and actually wear a dress for a change - and tights. Haven't worn tights for a long, long time and had forgotten how uncomfortable they are. My feet were freezing. Give me trousers and socks any time.

Unfortunately our weekend away next week has had to be cancelled, my sister has got Covid - again. I think that's the third time she's caught it so obviously she's not building up any immunity. I'm a bit worried as she has asthma and a heart condition. She hasn't really recovered from a really bad cold she had last September. Anyway, fingers crossed.

    Have a good weekend folks.

    Evening everyone.

That is such an amazing report from today’s visit @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble. I hope you two have a lovely day tomorrow- full of cuppas, good food and hugs.

Chilly here today and forecast is cold and sleety next week, with snow for some I see.

    Take care all.

So glad @Dovefromabove's son is recovering and up to blowing kisses.

OH is recovering slowly, a bit more mobile but still has pain. A kind friend came round this afternoon bearing Cottage Pie which we had for dinner.
