Sex on wheels, @Hostafan1, I have always coveted one.
I'm not even too fussed about colour. I'm NOT being greedy.
Back in 1983 I saw one advertised for sale for £3,000 , yes three thousand. I had that in the bank but my then fiancée talked me out of buying it. GGRRRRR

Nothing to gaudy for me, maybe a nice metallic silver.
How can you lie there and think of England

No sign of any snow here @Busy-Lizzie ... yet ...

Good morning,  no frost or snow here either thank goodness.  I  am waiting for someone to come and put a new windscreen on the car. Any time between 8am & 5pm . I've already had my moan on curmudgeons corner.
I  have about a litre of Mer (special car polish) we could use that to put a nice shine on whatever colour of E Type. I think we should have a communal Forkers one. 2weeks each in rotation. ☺

Topbird has snow in Suffolk @Dovefromabove. We are near the Suffolk border. It's just a sprinkle.

Morning all. After daughter left for work this morning at 5am I went to turn off the outside lights - the front one covers the old farm yard giving light to see the cars and extends to the yard gate to allow opening for cars to escape but not dogs during the day; the back light covers our small, dog secure back garden which allows for doggy activity without them racing freely off across the fields in the hours of darkness chasing after the 'Brechfa Beast' who is said to roam freely around these parts. Looking out the rear window it was snowing! No sign of any snow when I got up to make tea some two hours later but maybe a sign of what is to come?
Batten down the hatches and stay warm folks I think we may be in for a chilly few days.
  • Enjoy what you remember @tui34, and don’t go back. 8 years unlimited immigration show now the shadow side.
OH used to live in Berlin for 25 years before returning to England. There used to be a strong English community. Everybody of them who visits Berlin today deeply regret to have done it. So much change.

    I my garden.

Its the Mark 1 that I always loved - so curvy, like a 50's film star!  Never even been in one sadly.

    No snow here.
