So pleased to hear the good news @Dovefromabove, he is certainly making steady progress. Hope the snow stays away for your next trip on Friday (are you continuing with the alternate days?)
It has been snowing here on and off all day but it is the wind that is causing the problem, it's just so strong and bitter, even the dogs have only made it outside when absolutely necessary. But the old cat (19 next month) is the fastest, in and out of her personal cat flap like a rocket bless her.
Ah @Chicky there is nothing like an old Landy when the chips are down is there? How old is yours, mine is a '62 and has been with me since '72. No need for modern things like heaters when one soon warms up struggling with a crash gearbox, no power steering and brakes that require some forethought before finally bringing her to a halt! Can you tell that I'm a Landy fan!
Stay warm everyone and enjoy your evenings.

Ours is a mere baby @AnnaB at 30 years old - with us for the last 6.  We had an older one before (series 3 long wheel base) but we traded up as Mr C got fed up of welding it back together every year to get through its MOT.

Even this youngster caused smiles in the CAB car park though - with comparisons to Daktari.  Remember Clarence the cross-eyed lion?

    Morning folks and G’day Pat.

Great positive news from Dove yesterday!

I hope everyone can have a positive in their day today. Off to face the iced-up car so catch you later!

    Morning Forkers

what great news from Dove and Wonky. Poor lad he must arm himself with a lot of patience, but he is in good hands and has a wonderful family.

Yesterday's heavy(ish) snow has gone, last night lots and lots of rain and wind. Couldn't sleep but that is old news.

A little annoyance yesterday as the guest house we stay in during the folk festival in Cambridge is closing down so we had to book the holiday inn which is the hell of a lot more expensive. Errr, no guys our camping days are long gone 👵👴 we gave away the gear anyway.

Looking forward to the weekend, Zeltik festival in Lux with good bands from the UK and Ireland. The last few years had been dire here with virtually no (folk) bands coming from the UK.

    Have a good day all.

    Hi all

Been snowing all night, don’t think we’ll be able to get a car out today, should be s/m day, but I’m sure we will survive.

    Stay safe everyone.

    Good morning everyone

Bleak and cold here.  Seems we had a sprinkling of rain during the night. It may clear up as it did yesterday.

@Dovefromabove  Another snippet of good news.  Progress!

@steephill and @CrankyYankee Your snow photos are lovely!!  Warmer weather down here and for the gardeners who lived down here at one time;  the mimosa is out in full bloom and the smell is just divine!!  The yellow colour is snapping everyone out of winter promising spring.

Not good news I'm afraid:  S'il gèle aux Quarante Martyrs
                                            Il gèlera encore quarante jours!!!
Keep those poly tunnels tightly closed!!!

    Stay safe.  Stay warm.

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
