  • A very good (early) morning from a cold and snowy Berlin. Will be back tonight. Can’t wait to see what the plants look like. Hoped I could plant out the wildflowers tomorrow, but it’s cold and snowy at home too in the next days.

    I my garden.

    Hi all

Awake far too early, had to investigate loud noise outside. Badger ripping up the lawn.

    Good morning to you all.

Bright, sunny and cold.   No wind for once .... so far!!

@Simone_in_Wiltshire  I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Berlin (a long time ago) with 13, 14 year old high school pupils.  We were taken everywhere including the Philharmonic  Theatre, Potsdamer Place.  I was billeted with the French/English teacher and was very welcomed into her home.

@didyw  Yes, definitely strange!   I usually get the blob of toothpaste on the front of my jersey and don't see it until I'm half way to my destination!!!

Stay safe folks and stay warm today.

    Good Morning Forkers,

You made me smile @didyw! But I have to agree with @tui34 my blob of toothpaste is usually placed around the middle of my chest.

The care home is in Luxembourg. Have a look here:

As I type I am hearing the cranes flying north to breed. There have been many in the last month, I think these must be the last late ones to go over. Beautiful noisy creatures.

I might be playing in the garden a little, still haven't pruned the roses.

Take care all and have a good day.

Good morning Mum and everyone else!
After reading back I've been inspired.
Did anyone watch Saturday morning swapshop with Noel Edmunds?
The concept was folks wrote in with an offer of something they wanted to swap and what they wanted it swapped with....... You you lot just need to list your kids and their useful functions and we can start a labour exchange!
E.g.......i have one un-needed IT consultant, willing to swap for two weeks in exchange for all all round gardener...
I think it could catch on! 👍🤣

    Morning all.

We've woken up to a white garden. I hope the roads are clear as I have to go out to get OH's hearing aid from Specsavers. He lost one.

    I hope @punkdoc's lawn isn't ruined.
