I hope he fixed your car @Dovefromabove and that you have a safe journey home.

We are home … son was fine and pleased to see me … aware and responsive  … but he was a bit tired from a busy day yesterday and more physio today  but the nurses said he’s doing ok ….

Yes, we had an adventure with the car on the way back, but the lovely AA chap fetched a part and fixed it … then a few miles further on there was a hold-up cos two other cars had a little contretemps and the police had to push cars around onto hard shoulders and all that sort of thing so we had to wait for that to happen … but we are home … I am onthe sofa and OH is putting chicken salad together for supper.  😃 👍 I may have a lay in tomorrow morning 🛌

Morning all. You’ve all been chatting away and all I’ve done is have my breakfast. It’s a bit cool (19c) and I don’t feel like doing anything. Time will tell.

Dove, I’m very glad that your son is progressing. 👏  They must be very efficient and caring at the hospital. Lovely.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    I slept like a log.
Lovely flowers @Pat E … Broomfield Burns Unit is probably the best in the country and I believe it’s considered one of the best in the world. We are so thankful that he got a bed there. The staff and the facilities are absolutely amazing. 💙

    Hello all

Still very cold here but sunny! So unLuxembourgish! Of more concern is that it didnt' rain at all in February and another dry summer is already making the news.

Good news @Dovefromabove about your son. As you say the road is long but a little step at the time is the right attitude. Meanwhile I shall hold back the ☕ for later and let you have a lie in.

Today no gardening, back pain again. But will definitely be outside doing nothing.

    Good morning all
Glad you slept well Mum 😊 think you probably need it!
I was awake every hour but at least it gave me a chance to stir the steak and ale pie filling in the slow cooker!
I'm with you @Hostafan1... Had quite enough of the cold now thank you!! Off for another days work in it with a bad shoulder that I've had for a month and tensing against the cold doesn't help it!! Keeps me out of mischief though 👍
Have a good day all 😊
  • Good morning all.

So pleased your son is getting the very best care @Dovefromabove

@Hostafan1 happy to see you around, glad you managed to sort the income tax problem out, although it is a shame you had to be upset by the anonymous process in the first place.

Good news about OH @Busy-Lizzie, all sounds like good progress.

It's been terribly cold here, with a biting wind, but at least sunny, and lighter in the evenings, so spring is definitely breaking through.

Charlie and two friends from school are coming home from school this evening, staying over before they go back to school tomorrow to help host the Open Day, it's over two hours to their own homes and we are just an hour a way, so more convenient. It is astonishing how fast time has gone by, this time last year we were just starting the process of Charlie going to this school by attending the Open day ourselves. He has had the most wonderful year.

Good day to all, hope poorly people start to feel better.
