    Hi all

    fantastic news, @Busy-Lizzie.
Very cold here, trying to snow. Luckily I have the rugby to occupy me for most of the day.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

I'd rather have a rugby team to occupy me
    Devon.

So glad to hear that OH is home @Busy-Lizzie, steadily does it but onwards and upwards from now on.
Might it be easier for him to sleep in a half sitting up position? I know that after my leg op I found that I was less likely to try turning over on to my side in my sleep by mistake. Might help with the snoring as well.
You have both waited so long for this op, I'm so pleased that you have at last had it done.

    Morning all.
    Thank you.

The wound site was hurting quite a bit last night but is less painful this morning. OH has to sleep on his back which he isn't used to and it makes him snore. So the night was a bit disturbed for both of us, but it will get better. @AnnaB he is sleeping half sitting with the help of a V shaped pillow that a nurse advised us to buy before his op.

@Dovefromabove please would you send me that link too.

    Good morning
    Cloudy but still dry here.
Your OH must be so glad to be home @Busy-Lizzie. I’m sure as each day passes he’ll feel stronger and the discomfort will ease.
OH will be watching the rugby this pm. I might do a bit more painting.

My OH, who has just popped to the shops, has announced that he will be watching the rugby when he gets back.  My unspoken plan was to watch one of the operas from the boxed set he bought me for Christmas.  Oh well.
We did get to see Dido and Aeneas last night at the now redundant big church in the middle of town.  The acoustics in there are amazing.  It was performed by students from the Norwich School and they were amazing!  Brought tears to my eyes.  The only musical accompaniment was a harpsichord (which they brought with them) and a cello.
