    Max of 7C here today.
    I hate it
    Devon.
  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I slept fairly well, I think … it’s so hard to differentiate between the weird dreams and the craziness of my actual life at the moment.
Blue sky here @Hostafan1 … and we’re promised the dizzy heights of 8C … come up here and enjoy the heat 😎 😉
Maybe your innards are doing that cramping stress thing @Busy-Lizzie ?  Hope it settles soon. I know you’re used to hospitals and stuff, but it’s different when it’s someone you love 🤗
Thank you all for your kind thoughts … and reading about everyone else’s days is helping to keep me grounded. Never think that your ordinary days are boring … there is a lot to be thankful for when your lives just amble along quietly … there is poetry in the peaceful everyday patterns of things 😊

Glad you got a fairly good sleep @Dovefromabove xx I had a bit more than I have been lately too.
    Hazy sunshine but chilly here.
Hope the tummy has settled @Busy-Lizzie and that your OH is feeling more comfortable.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning all.

The sun is shining through the window as we drink our coffee in bed. We slept quite well. I think @Dovefromabove could be right about my tummy. No other symptoms except crampy pain and it seems to have gone now. When my dear friend died while OH was on the operating table my insides were churning, I thought he might join her. She was the one who got us to meet in 2008.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hello all Forkers and special hugs to @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble. Great news.

As Dove says let's all appreciate the "boring" days, you never know what is around the corner. Life is tough and illness magnifies everything. Hugs are extremely important, so yes @punkdoc I will have one too.

Yesterday it was a tough walk, all achy today. There was a very cold wind. Today is sunny and bright but at the moment is -2.

Minestrone is cooking, something warm for lunch. OH is still working on the garage to insulate its ceiling, I am going downstairs with coffees (decaf!) and the occasional biscuit to keep him going.

Morning all, we woke up to snow this morning but it's melting now thank goodness as i have to get to physio this afternoon. Such good news from @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble hugs to both.
Has your OH got physio arranged @Busy-Lizzie? It will be a great help to him.

A late good morning to you all.

Sunshine and showers here, chilly, too. Just got back from my coffee morning group and there was a lovely rainbow.

The arborists are here today, taking down a diseased ash tree. It must be well over 100 years old. Always sad to see such magnificent specimens come down, but it has some fungal disease so for safety reasons, has to be cut down. It’s close to housing and a main road.

Pleased you had a fairly settled night @Busy-Lizzie, and hope your stomach feels less crampy today. I imagine it is stress related, too.

    Hugs to @Dovefromabove and @W@WonkyWomble

So glad you got to talk to your boy @Dovefromabove and that you are going to have the (well, she sounds it to me) fabulous @WonkyWomble looking after you soon.  Glad you got a better night's sleep Wonky.

I thought that must be stress too @Busy-Lizzie.  I remember when my father was in his last days, I couldn't stop going to the loo.  My brother told me that it was part of the fight or flight response - so we are empty and ready to tackle whatever we need to face.

It was bright and sunny here a while ago but not now, now it is just cold.  So I won't be doing any gardening today after all.  I'll clean the kitchen instead.
