    That is lovely @Lizzie27.

We went to BeanQ this morning, shower needed a new hose. Then we went to Sainsbugs for a few bits and ingredients for the spiced apple fruit cake I will be making on Friday for the church coffee morning in aid of Turkey. Got lemons too to make a lemon tart for this evening.

It's been sunny today. I pruned rose Souvenir de Dr Jamain and planted another 18 violas.

  • Thank you @Lizzie27 ... looking forward to brighter days 🤞

A lovely picture @Busy-Lizzie. It’s so nice to see the spring flowers starting to come back to life. OH and I took a walk around our village today and admired all the crocuses, snowdrops and some daffodils starting to open up. Very cheering.

Thank you for the updates @Dovefromabove - thinking of you all 💐.
  • Some more spring flowers even if I planted them the wrong way round. The taller ones should have been in the middle.

Oh dear, I didn’t check the forum during our long weekend away, and have just read through over 60 messages. So shocked by the news from Dove and Wonky, prayers and best wishes for a rapid and full recovery.
Poor Pat E, take it easy. Hope things settle and improve for you, Damsel. Still sad not to be hearing from Hostafan, hopefully only temporarily. And the place won’t be the same without Punkdoc, so rest up and hopefully feel up to posting again before too long.
All quite miserable, puts my minor gripes into perspective. Our quick trip to the sun was ok, apart from no sun, strong winds and cloud, and trying to amuse ourselves during a five hour delay before the flight home. Please let the spring come soon, and some positive outcomes to keep us all going.
Love and hugs to all who need one.
  • Morning all,

Glad to hear you are feeling better @pat, very good service from your physio.

@Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble you and yours must be in total shock, glad to hear he is in the specialised unit, he must be in so much pain, sending all the very best to all of you.

Charlie and I are busy packing and preparing for our ski trip on Friday, a little bit of much needed escapism in the offing.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
