Afternoon all, and thank you to @Dovefromabove for starting us off in February.

February can be a real mixed bag of weather and gardening opportunities. In Welsh, this month is sometimes referred to as ‘y mis bach’ - the little month.

Take care all. Good news from @Busy-Lizzie
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Good afternoon,  after a cold but bright start it's cloudy and windy here too.  Got to plots yesterday but the real job of the week is sorting out our bedroom in readiness for next week.  We are getting new sliding door wardrobes,  but first the old ones have to be taken out and the room prepared.  So that's starting next week and the new ones being built the following week.  We have been looking at paint, my, my how much😱
    £42 for 2.5 l £66 for 5l , typically we think we need about 3.
Glad to see you back PatE, fingers crossed  @Busy-Lizzie

Thank you, I just hope it goes ahead this time 🤞

I did 2 hours gardening, tidying up and mulching. Run out of compost and leaf mould, means a trip to a GC D

    It's been a good day.

Morning Forkers.   I’ve started the day being breathless again. I am taking my blood thinners, so don’t know what’s going on. Looks like another easy day for me. 🤔

Good afternoon @Pat E   It's the only thing you can do really.  Relax with some colouring and reading etc.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    sorry you’re not great today @Pat E … take it steady 🤗
6C here this morning and overcast … the trees are still … that blustery wind has stopped.

Morning you two. I’ve had a relaxing day.😁.

Interesting that you suggested reading and colouring Tui, since I’ve spent quite a lot of time doing both today.  I’ve resurrected my old books by Lilian Jackson Braun featuring Qwilleran and his two Siamese cats.  I’d forgotten how much I used to enjoy them.

You can tell I’m a bit bored. Here are some more photos from the veranda and our boom.🙄

  • Morning everyone,  bright start here. We are off to GC today for seed spuds etc. We will take Tommy from the Allotments with us, he's not confident driving the extra distance anymore,  we've taken him the last couple of years now. He's physically capable but worried about his memory,  even if he got there he might not remember the way home.  He's giving up driving completely this year when the current tax etc expires.  He's only driven to the plots and some local shops for some time now. Such a shame.
