Lovely pictures LB and Busy. Â LB a rather pretty cactus. Â Ante hope you and your sister are now relaxing at home. Â LB what a bother you had today. Â Hope you have a relaxing evening after your endeavours.
Just pop in to say hello and that we came safely came home. Way to the airport and back was long due to many road works. We are now watching old Jamie Oliver episodes, but I don't like how he throws food all around. Â
Ante, I had to smile when I read about your journey. I tell my Bestie that I am a roadworks magnet because it doesn't matter where I am going, or when, I hit roadworks. They can be a real pain! Pleased you and your sister got back to yours safely. You will be busy over the next two weeks so don't worry if you cannot get on here to post.
This morning I am picking up a friend and we are joining my sister and another friend at a big GC (oh no!) for breakfast. No snow here as yet but there is a slight frost. When I brought in the cloth things last night - which I nearly forgot about - the thicker items that were still a bit damp had frozen.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
No settled snow this morning though there have been some flakes.
It's hard to drive anywhere in Norfolk without hitting road works. They are digging up the road at the end of our drive at the moment, leaking fire hydrant.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all, Just waiting for the speech therapist to arrive. It's been decided that Hubby will get two sessions a week now so I'm hoping it will improve his communication skills. We have snow flurries here but nothing seems to be sticking so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. Road works everywhere here too @Ladybird4 Despite that we seem to have more really deep potholes than ever.  Will pop back on later hopefully for a longer chat.

Wish you all goodnight and see you tomorrow.Â
Im signing out too now. Night all.Â
Debs, I hope your fiancé is just experiencing teething problems, I always used the mantra to give any new job up to six months before any decisions were to be made either about changing things, doing things differently and to give myself time to settle in. Must have worked okay as I ended up staying in the CS for 25-30 years all told.)(took time off to have the kids). I hope he will be ok.
LB, enjoy your lunch and browse around the gc, wonder if you'll get anything?
I hope your fiancé isn't disappointed with his new job @debs64. He probably needs more time to get into the swing of it.
