Wow @Biglad that is impressive. I have to say that the sun is out here and the snow is disappearing like crazy - could be all gone by lunch time. Sensible idea to hang on to your blood for a bit longer! You can also find out later what the loud bang was in the middle of the night.
The Canasta coordinator rang me to say that she was cancelling today's session.
Glad you managed to get back for some more sleep Hazel.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
I had a busy week, and wit a school, my sister and preparations for growing season, I have very little free time. Didn't read back, but I promise to do that this weekend. Here is warm, but with rain whole week. At least the soil is proper soaked. I was today at cottage, just to store potatoes and onions, and up in the hills is still cold with snow on the ground. Now is time for lunch and my cup of tea. Hope you all have a nice day. Â
Mrs B Southampton fingers crossed here also for you.  Wishing you well.  LB poor Jack and waiting all that time on the trolley.  I’m glad he has a bed now and sorry he’s had a stroke.  Glad all went well at the food bank and hope you and Marjorie are both well.  Hazel hope you’ve had an appmt and not helpful with this cold weather.  Biglad sounds amusing that you have glorious sunshine whilst we are quite snowed in dug out by the neighbours thankfully.  Bin collection tomorrow, hope they come.  Enjoy the rest of your day, wrap up warm.  White over here.
We knew that you would be busy Ante. Enjoy your catch up
Rosie you have kind neighbours to help you in the snow clearing task.
Like @Biglad, my snow melt story is very similar. The sun is beaming down now, though it is a bit of a cheat, as I've been out filling up the bird feeders and boy it is still freezing! At least going out to the quiz tonight won't be so concerning.

@Mrs-B3-Southampton,-Hants, I hope all will be well for the scan results. . Weve had more snow this afternoon but also sun which has melted the snow. Crazy weather. I'm not envious of your brother and family, LB, setting off for the Lakes District. They could be in for some very erratic weather there. We are staying put, very firmly!( I hope your other two friends fare a bit better on their cruises....). Ante, another busy week for you, try and grab some rest when you can.
It stopped snowing before midday and the road was clear so I went out and dealt with OH's prescription and went to Sainsbugs for us and NDN. Sun came out briefly, then it snowed again on the way home then rained this afternoon followed by sun.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I am signing out for today - not sure what time I'll get back from the quiz. I must check what I have set to record. Enjoy your evenings all. See you tomorrow.

It was wet and windy when we woke up but now it's snowing and settling.
My trip to the surgery for OH's prescription, their computer is down, and to Sainsbugs for some things I forgot the other day, will have to wait.
As you were.
