Oh Hazel, you must feel so frustrated. I hope that the pharmacist can help you. How lovely that you had a visit from 23. I see that you have moved on from castles!
Time for me to sign out too. See you all in the morning.

    Good morning all.

Sunny and windy morning here. It's time for first cup of tea and small rest. I already have apple strudel in the oven and bread is next. It's Sunday after all. Yesterday I manage to spent some time in the garden, and it seems that winter is finally over, at least with snow.

    Wish you all lovely Sunday.

A very good morning Ante and all arriving later. The snow falling yesterday afternoon quickly changed to rain so I am thankful (partly!) for that. I had to stop watching the rugby yesterday - we were humiliated! Hey ho, its only a game!

    Morning all,

Down to the last remnants of the snow now - mild and moist here.

Yes @Ladybird4 - it is literally on its way over the pond. Once my laptop arrives from California, I'll be on duty :(

Ante, I have got my fingers crossed here that we have no more snow now. My garden needs a lot of attention!
Never mind Biglad - it all brings in the pennies.

Good morning all. We have sunshine! Lovely lunch with 2 of my sons yesterday and then saw my sister but today is completely empty and I am so excited to be able to spend a day in the garden at last!
Hope you all get some of this better weather and it helps those of you who have been unwell to feel a bit happier. I know when I am getting stressed the sunshine cheers me up. Let’s hope the last of the winter cold has gone.
    Happy Sunday!

    Good morning Debs and Ruby.
Debs, I do agree, just glimpsing sunlight always cheers me up also. It must have been nice having your sons around yesterday - another cheery experience.
Ruby, I am glad to hear that your snow is finally thawing and you can get out. Bet you are not out long though as it is still a bit brrrrr outside.

Morning all. We've had a week of it - all sorts of problems going on. Final straw on Friday when I checked the heating oil and realised the tank was as good as empty. I'd got completely out of synch with ordering schedules following lockdowns (when we were at home a lot more) and then in October (when I last had to order some) it was so expensive that I only ordered 750 litres instead of the usual 1000.

Had to turn the boiler off so it didn't drag all the dregs through and we've had no central heating since Fri am. The log burner keeps the sitting room warm but the rest of the house is very cold. Borrowed a fan heater to take the edge off in the bedroom & bathroom in the morning but glad it should be milder today. Hoping for an emergency oil delivery tomorrow or Tuesday.

Niece gets married at 6pm tonight so I'll be watching on Zoom togged up like Nanook of the North while they're swanning around in light, floaty things on a Hawaiian beach. No doubt though that the love and good will warm from the inside.

May try to do a bit outside today. Everything looks nice and wet so probably a good time to start mulching.

LB - any more news re Jack?
