I ordered an item off Amazon With 'Premium Delivery' on Tuesday. Had notification on Wednesday that it was out for delivery and later the same day another message to say delivery had been delayed. It was actually delivered before 10am on Thursday. On Saturday I had a message from Amazon saying delivery cost had been refunded. I hadn't asked for it to be refunded, and hadn't actually realised I'd selected Premium Delivery in the first place. Result
Just check that you haven’t been signed up for a trial free Prime delivery offer @KT53, rather than Premium delivery and be sure to cancel it before the free trial period ends, unless you want it or already have it. I nearly fell for that once🙄.
Not for the first time a little budget Christmas advert (in this case by a small bar in Northern Ireland) has knocked the big budget John Lewis one into a cocked hat.
Just a warning that if you have recently lost a loved one it may be a little bit much, but it does have a happy ending (and a cute dog).
