My wife has been sending me photo's of the food and having me guess what it's supposed to be.  As often as not I fail.

I have to have a moist diet..( sauce or gravy with everything) when I was in hospital earlier this year they kept bringing me pureed meals.  They look and taste like wallpaper paste.

My wife left her hospital food uneaten but was told by the nurse that they could not have patients’ food even though it was untouched. “Why’s that?” she asked, “Health and safety?” Nothing. Not a flicker of a response. Sometimes cracking jokes is like feeding strawberries to dogs.

I had to eat what I  could of it as I don't feel hunger. If I forget to eat l don't get the reminder by feeling hungry.....I just feel Ill. I have been known to go over 24 hours without eating before now.

One for @wild edges and other parents of young sons  … beware of glitter glue … a Dad of our acquaintance has just spent his weekend  carefully peeling a decorative layer from his four year old son’s ‘gentleman’s appendage’

Not really a reason to be cheerful … except that they all escaped ‘unscathed’ 🤣

  • Went for a town walk today, so that I was not too far from home. At least this road had very little traffic!!😊

There ARE no businesses up this road!!

We went to a Prom concert last night. Ticket machines at station car park not working again,  parked for free. Saved £6, little wins all helps.

  • One of my neighbours arrived on the doorstep yesterday evening with a good-sized tub of blackberries.
Today I made a batch of apple and blackberry jam. Apple was from jars of stewed apple left over from last year.
The whole house is full of the sweet smell.
    😊😊😊
