He's not a reason to be cheerful @Hostafan1! Gave me quite a fright.
I would like to see opera on TV too. We sometimes see live streaming in Diss or Norwich, even Périgueux in France. Much better on a big screen as @Dovefromabove says.
Anyway my reason to be cheerful is that the heatwave has ended in Dordogne. My bedroom was 30° last night, hotter outside, awful. There were thunderstorms in the night and rain and now it's much cooler and I can open the windows again.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Last night while falling asleep I thought...like you do. I have two old windows, some hinges, screws, wood (but is there enough?). Do you see where I'm going with this? Sounds like I have cold frame ingredients!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
