@Slow-worm  🤗 He says he just feels so lucky and so glad that the five children under ten who would usually have been in a caravan just a few feet away were not there that day. He says that would have been traumatising for him … as it is he feels nothing but the luckiest man in the world. 😃
He's lucky alright! Aww, Rob sounds like such a sweet soul, and if the kids had been there.. that doesn't bear thinking about. There's the entire western world flouncing about being 'offended' about nothing, while people who have experienced massive, life changing events, just get on with healing and supportng, with gratitude. You all have my utmost respect. 🙏❤

Awww thank you. I’m so proud of him, and of his sister @WonkyWomble … she’s been amazing and her husband has been such a solid support in his own quiet way … and my OH has just been a complete saint. ❤️ I couldn’t have done any of it without them.

Just heard a deep rumbling overhead and popped into the garden to watch three large slow military aircraft fly over us in Norwich on their way to form up over Sole Bay  for the flypast.  In earlier times Pa (ex RAF) would’ve been out there saluting them as they followed the route of the River Blyth inland from Southwold Harbour.
