A while ago there'd been worried posts from several folk worried if their agapanthus had died. Looking at my plant at the time and seeing all the mushed leaves, I shrugged my shoulders and thought, 'Ah well, I'm not that bothered if mine's snuffed it'! But I decided to move it to a more sheltered spot by a warm wall anyway , cleared its sad leaves and mulched the pot. I'm now thrilled to see some new growth leaves beginning to grow on the bits of plant (they're not corms are they and I'm not sure what they are called?). It looks as though it will survive.
RTBC - I was clearing up in the garden today and did so by partially squatting, rather than by sticking my left leg out to the side or behind me. Less than 6 weeks on from hip replacement and the increased mobility is already genuinely life changing. Still a long way to go,and the physio is careful not to let me have new exercises too quickly to prevent me over doing things.
That sounds great @KT53. This has been my first week without physio for th enew knee since late July and I managed a very busy dance class last night - tango and Viennese waltz - with no bovver except the usual sea sickness after too many twirls in VW. i can even kneel on it now. So liberating.
We're still on cowslips here @Lizzie27 but not long to wait for proper bluebells.

That's really good @kt23, i had my follow up RDV today , all is good and he is so pleased with his handiwork he has invited me back to do the other one next year 😂
Just over a week ago, I had to rush my mother to the hospital, and they ended up keeping her there for days. It was hard to see her in that bed, with tubes and machines hooked up to her. It made me realize that she isn't quite the indomitable force I had always seen her as. Today is her birthday, and she's home to celebrate and is feeling great, or as she likes to say, "not bad for a woman of my age and habits". Definite RTBC!

I gambled and left my evergreen agapanthus out this winter.
Most seem scruffy, but alive.
Saw the first bluebells this morning - Spanish ones most probably but a very cheerful sight. My English ones in the garden are not in bloom yet.
