    Ditto, but in Crete.
    But can't cope now.

Did you encounter any mad dogs or Englishmen on your strolls?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Actually, yes!! Along the beaches in Crete. In the midday sun!🌞
Daft really, but staying in one hotel, we opted for lunchtime in a different hotel at the other end of the beach.
    Crazy English!!

Today was a good day. Some days I'm ready for the hills but today was good. 😊

Got home from the shops to find that OH has shredded all the prunings while I was out! Green bins now full. I have cooked him a very nice dinner ( I would have anyway, but today I think he has deserved it!)

Last jab of anti-coagulants (the product stings) and scar declred clean so plaster off the new knee then first excursion since the op.   Lunch and informal committee meeting with patchwork colleagues.  Good fun and good lunch and some work done too.

@Obelixx I was so pleased when I discovered that the consultant I had for my hip replacement was the only one who prescribes anti-coagulant tablets rather than jabs.  I didn't relish the thought of doing those every day.

The jab is fine @KT53 but the product burns a bit once in, tho the one they're using this year less so than last year's.  Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the new anti-inflammatories and that meant nil by mouth for nearly 3 days so pills wouldn't have worked.  Keeping things simple now with plain paracetamol and no codeine or anti-inflammatories while I rebuild my gut flora.

First tasting of last year's cider :p It is 8% ABV and mainly from my fairly new cider apple trees (Dabinett and Michelin) so is proper cider. Production last year was very limited, only 2 gallons, but I have plenty in reserve from previous vintages going back to 2015.
