    Get well soon @Liriodendron 🤗

Hope you feel better soon @Liriodendron.

We've had a nice outing to Bowood in the old Austin cars as it's 'Drive it Day'. A bit early for the bluebells but some of the rhodos were stunning.

I'm still struggling with my asparagus bed @Allotment Boy , so I'm very jealous. Only tiny, thin spears coming through despite as you say a good mulching of cow muck earlier this year. Was hoping for at least one spear for dinner tonight!

Not funny for the poor bloke involved, but the story is hilarious (to me at least)

What are the chances of that happening?  Anyone here an
    insurance actuary?

As I read it I could visualise the whole thing.  Sadly, the old guy who was taking a leak didn't. :D

We were expecting to have to hang around the house all day because my wife had a telephone appointment with the doctor "Between 9am and 6pm" and British Gas were coming to service the boiler "Between 8am and 1pm".
Gas engineer arrived at 8am, spent 45 minutes here so I'm assuming did a thorough job, then the doctor called at 9am.  Now, at 9:20 it's all done.
  • I ordered 2 rolls of copper tape, to put round my pots (since I found it so successful), and when the order arrived this morning, the package contained 3 rolls.

I checked my original order, and found that if I ordered 2, I'd get a third free. That put a smile on my face   B)

If you haven't used copper tape before, or even if you have, be very careful when smoothing it onto the pots.  The edges can be very sharp.

I have used it before - and never cut myself yet.
    Tomorrow perhaps!?
  • I've just noticed that we have blossom appearing on our apple tree. 😀
