...anyone know about lobsters? I thought blue lobsters were common (in fact I thought most of them were blue), but I went rock-pooling with dear dafter and dear, dear grandafter and we spotted this beauty:
...now I'm being told that blue lobsters are rare.

I saw that a person saw a rare blue one, but it didn't specify what made it so rare that I could tell - and this site (https://www.directseafoods.co.uk/fish-glossary/native-lobster/) says that British lobsters are typically blue anyway!

Dark blue-black lobsters are normal in UK waters. The rare ones are BRIGHT BLUE!!! 😎

Looks like Chinese lobsters you can get on eBay to go with your blue strawberries. Yum!

This is the time of year when I'm really glad that my garden isn't as big as I used to think I would like it to be.
