I need to wait probably another week depending on the temps/sunshine hours before I take photos. I do like the fact that witch hazel flowers stay on for absolute ages.
I had a phone call yesterday confirming my hip replacement operation for tomorrow. I was concerned as I had two phone calls in one day, about 3 weeks ago, the first to move the op by 6 weeks and the second to put it back to the original date.
Just been reading about a Welsh hospital which is pioneering hip replacement surgery as day cases! Remarkable. OH tells me that his surgeon told him he's also working towards that result.
If all goes to plan I could be out again on Monday. They say 2 to 3 nights, and as I'm a morning op, the physioterrorists will have me up later that day. Once I can walk up and down stairs they will kick me out. The food is supposed to be extremely good, so I might try being a slow learner. My brother-in-law's niece is one of the physio's so I probably won't get away with that.
