I wasn't sure whether to post this as there is nothing in the least funny about the incident itself there a man exposed himself to a woman who was out walking.  Part of the report did make me laugh however.  "The man is described by police as white, with no trousers, wearing a white T-shirt and possibly a bobble hat. He was carrying one red plastic bag and one blue plastic bag."

It's pretty clear at what height the woman's attention was as she can describe the bags in detail, but doesn't know if he had a hat on or not.  Hopefully he will be apprehended quickly.

Finally processed all the hazel and cob nuts I harvested. Two jars of homemade grownup Nutella (dark chocolate and no sugar) and one of nut butter in the fridge :p I reckon it takes the entire harvest from one tree to get one jar full.

Driving through a couple of local villages today, and delighted to see that the redundant red telephone boxes are being used as book exchanges. Such a lovely idea. One village also has a plant swap shelf by the main bus stop. Always seedlings and small plants there, plus a pile of empty flower pots to help yourself to.

There is a famous phone box in Compton near Guildford which might raise a smile https://newsroom.bt.com/as-red-phone-box-approaches-100th-birthday-bt-reveals-1000-kiosks-up-for-grabs/

You could have been driving through our village @Ergates, our telephone box is a book exchange and any free, cheap or exchange locally grown plants or vegetables are usually to be found on the wooden bench outside the little village shop.

Rang my surgery yesterday, asking whether my GP would feel able to prescribe me a mild sedative in view of extensive dental work next week. They rang back early this morning telling me it's all organised - brilliant service.
