We're all different. There's only two of us in my household, and we like different temperatures.

I've got a gardener to help me out, hopefully at least until the autumn. Seemed very nice and capable, knew her stuff, liked the garden and can start fairly soon. A big relief.

We've been in Crete with temperatures in the low 40s with a warm wind blowing too, and it was not pleasant.

We were in Santorini and it was 42C and it was fine. Stayed on the beach all day.
It was also 42C when we went to Cairo. Zero humidity, that was fine too

I’m firmly of the opinion that you must have the genes of a rotisserie chicken somewhere in your makeup @Hostafan1 🏖

I'd be happy with 28C every day for the rest of my life.

They’re both amazing @Hostafan1 thanks … son has done a full day at work every day this week … it’s a very busy time of year … all the festivals etc … and OH is doing ok thanks … amazingly he says there’s not really any pain … so far 🤞

When I was a lot younger I could certainly cope with the heat far better.  We went to Cyprus in late July one year and the temperature at night barely dropped below the high 30s.  I would go for a walk in the early afternoon whilst all the sensible people were having a siesta, or the Cypriot equivalent.
