    So have ours @rowlandscastle444 and yes it was very peaceful today. Also a dry and sunny day so doubly blessed.

  • Part of my pea gravel patio has finally melted, so I dragged out my reclining lawn chair and took a nap in the sun.  It's just warm enough to be pleasant, there's a breeze blowing cool air across what's left of the snow, birds are singing, and there's not a cloud in the sky. These are my favorite types of spring days.

    no part of my favourite day has snow involved.  :D

    It’s that time of year when the plant identification posts start to come thick and fast. I really enjoy those, really helpful to find out what things are, and I get pathetically pleased when I recognise some of them!

    I'm just waiting for the usual crop of goat willow and carex pendula.
