Enjoy Wolf Hall @D0rdogne_Damsel, it's one of my favourites. I'm sure you'll get the house eventually but house conveyancing always takes more time than you think - and probably even more so in France!
Hubby has been into town this morning and been advised that his Oncologist is moving to Melbourne 🤬🤔. Also his GP has swapped wives and has moved to Bombala. I’ll ask my excellent GP if she will take him on. (Same practice anyway). Hoo haa!
What a pain @Pat E. If you have a good GP it is good, I hope she will take your OH on. Fingers crossed. I too am battling with doctors who are not doing their proper job. I picked up courage yesterday and phoned the cancer association: they were astounded by the way I had been left on my own after treatment. Anyway, they were very sympathetic and put me on their psychology support list (something that should have been done back in August) but can do FA about seeing the endocrinologist before 22nd Feb. My thyroxine medicament is too high but have to wait until February. Rant over. If it stops raining I will go for a walk and maybe go buy that small branch cutter I have been promising to myself for a while.
Thanks for your support Dove and Coccinella. It’s just a darned nuisance, and probably nothing to be done until we get sone reaction to my phone call to my Doctor’s Practice. 😡
I loooooved Wolf Hall @D0rdogne_Damsel! Hilary Mantel is (was ) such a good writer - she puts you right there, in the thick of it.
Hope your GP will take on your OH @Pat E. I have no idea who my GP is, or indeed who any of the GPs at our surgery are now. It was different when we first moved here but there seems to be such a high turnover of doctors now and I haven't spoken to one since I broke my wrist 3 years ago. I only ever see/get phone calls from, the nurses. But they are very nice. Hope you too get sorted @coccinella - it seems too long to wait for your thyroxine levels to be adjusted.
Right - back to the year-end accounts... (not mine - the business association I chair).

This afternoon OH's daughter, her son and I went for a walk along the beach. Very windy, blew the cobwebs away. Their lovely Spaniel came too.
@D0rdogne_Damsel, but part of that was because of the delaying tactics of my Dutch buyers.

that’s a nuisance @Pat E … hope it all gets resolved quickly. You too @coccinella … ((hugs)) to you both.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
That seems very poor treatment from your doctors @coccinella. Can you escalate your complaint?
