Good morning Rosie. How are you this morning - ssshhh I cannot believe it but it's not raining! That has probably invoked the rain gods! I am having my cereals and first cup of tea now.

Good morning all. @Ante1 we all know how busy you are and love to hear about your adventures.
@Ladybird4 it’s a worry having elderly neighbours sometimes isn’t it? There are 3 houses with widows by me all in their 70s and 80s. Lovely ladies.
Work later just seem fiancé off to do a stocktake before he starts the day properly. He wants to meet the breakfast chef today.
Cold here but dry. My favourite pharmacist working today so should be a good day.
    Stay cosy if you can.

    Good morning Debs and Ruby.
Debs, you will enjoy today with the favourite pharmacist. Fingers crossed that the customers are as pleasant.
Sounds as though it may be another crafting day for you today Ruby?

    Morning all,

Looks like a temporary cessation in the deluge here. Will be outside shortly!

Two of our neighbours passed away recently, leaving two widows living alone. It looks like at least one will be moving out - downsizing, presumably. There could be an influx of young families to replace us 'oldies' (some of whom have been here since the houses were built in 1970s).

Right - need to get my garden DIY head on :o

Morning all. The suns trying to peep out but we've got high winds...again.....just as we have a chappie coming out to clear and clean out the gutters of the house. Hope he doesn't blow over on his ladders.Meanwhile, indoor jobs for me today.

    Morning all.

Our phone is still out of order. Internet went too for a while this morning. A withheld number has been ringing so OH rang the hospital with my French mobile to see if it was them which it was. They told him that he mustn't go anywhere as he will have his op as soon as the ward is free of Covid and it may be short notice. He is marked as urgent. I wish they would repair our phone. Internet went for a while this morning too.

Windy and chilly but blue sky, may do some gardening.

    Correction - Marti's back!

Good job I'm such a laid-back, placid chap for the weather to NOT get on my wick. Didn't even question the parking of this numpty at 'sco the other day. Admittedly I parked towards the edge of a space. However, it was one of 6 empty spaces in a row. When I got back in my car 15 mins later, the red car was just parking next to me (with a further 3 empty spaces to the left to choose). The driver kept glancing at me as they adjusted their final resting spot and then opened their door into my car, got out and walked off.

On reflection, there certainly would've been occasions in the past where the next step would've been radically different ;) I got out, took a couple of photos and then drove off bemused.
