That watch sounds very practical T'Bird. I have heard of them being useful in that situation I'm not sure that mine is that good - mind you, its just told me it needs re-charging! I don't think I want to do a consumer test by landing on my bum on the drive!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Thanks LB. Now I can say that I survived. π I have whole weekend, and it should be nice and dry, so I'll go tomorrow to the cottage. Material for raised beds is prepared, and I must start to build them before snow next week.
LB, I was thinking about my post regarding the wax melts, after I'd posted it, thinking I should have explained Β that better. Son bought us a plug in wax melts burner and it has a light switch on it to turn on a light bulb. The heat from the light bulb melts the lumps of wax you put in a little scooped out tray at the top. Like this.....
....and you get a lovely smell permeating the room. As the light bulb "blew" /popped it blew a fuse.
Ante, so pleased you've got this first week at school over and done with. I used to find I would get reacclimatised within a couple of days, unfortunately, after returning to work from the holidays. Bet you look like the bees knees (excellent, wonderful cool) with your new hair cut. π Beautiful picture of that sunset, breath taking.
OH and I have decided to take a trip out tomorrow to the garden centre ( your fault LB) to get some mpc before it all goes. I have also ordered 2 Knautia Macedonica's ,on-line, in readiness for spring. OH loves the plant but ours has died.( think I drowned Β it). We have got a space for it and the other one will go in a pot and be dotted about the garden to see where it does the best. Whilst we are out we will keep an eye open in case there's one available too. I like your idea of building some planters @Ante1, it's nice to have plans for our gardens /plots.Β
Aaah I understand now Hazel. Thank you for your explanation. Did all the wax burn away or did the appliance get too hot? I am allergic to all scented candles, melts, perfume sticks, plug in air fresheners etc. etc. I cannot even walk down through the washing powders/conditioners and other scented cleaning products in 'sco without having a reaction. I hold my breath when I have to go down that aisle. Think I might have told all of you that before.

Evening Hazel. That lamp looks beautiful, but sorry to hear that it blew a fuse. You will certainly enjoy at GC tomorrow. I noticed here that all are prepared for next growing season.Β
I put tea seeds to soak. I didn't expect that seeds are so huge, marble size.
