I did some gardening after I posted here. I've cut down 5 group 3 clematis and pulled them off the wires. The fences now look bare. I've tidied up and cut down tatty old stems in the laurel tree bed and pruned a rose.
This afternoon I went to a GC for a wander about. I wanted to take my car for a run as we've been using OH's car this month.
Hazel, a few years ago I washed my car in a rotary brush car wash in a supermarket car park in France. The rotary brush fell off and damaged the bonnet. The man selling petrol got it off for me. I went in to complain and to ask them to fill in a form for the insurance and the man said he didn't believe me, that I'd done it to get a repair from something else. He asked the petrol man who lied and said he hadn't seen it. So I stormed up the No Entry stairs to the manager's office. He believed me and filled in the form. Now I only use the high pressure sprays.

I survived Monday. Definitely not my day. Weather settled and now is much milder. It's amazing how little bit of sunshine can improve mood in cold winter days. I had small digestion problems yesterday, but now is all gone. Dinner is over, and now is time for cup of tea. I didn't read back properly, and hope you all had a nice day.
Hi Ante, sorry to read you had a stomach upset yesterday - don't forget plenty of tea is very good to rehydrate youself. It was a really pleasant day here after a not so good start.
