Good morning Ruby. I might get some crafting in but I'm making a quick SM dash first thing - before the rugrats start going to school. I also have to pot on some of my cacti. It sounds as though you might be doing some?

Good morning @Biglad my dustbin men came very early this morning too. I was quite glad though as it meant I could retrieve my bin before it was used as a convenient receptacle for the local dog walkers poo bags! I was so cross when that happened a few weeks back.

    Morning all.

Our dustbin men came a day late and it was in the afternoon.

OH has booked a table for lunch at my favourite pub restaurant today.

Morning all. The dark skies and drizzle rain has returned and it's quite cold. Have been to SM which was nice and quiet and back home within the hour. Just had a delivery which wasn't due until Saturday so just as well we were out early and back.
Have managed to scarify a large patch of mossy grass in back garden which seems to be spreading so will need to deal with that in the Spring.
  • Afternoon all.  Had a walk with Dad, glad to breathe in fresh air.  Sunny here but rather breezy.

    Afternoon all,

Rain intermittently rattling against the windows. Really need to find somewhere to stick a couple more water butts. Give it 6 months and we might all be praying for a drop or two of rain :o

We enjoyed our lunch out. Nice people, they put out a cone to reserve a place for OH in the car park and they gave us our favourite table. Not pub grub. Pub prices for Michelin star type of food.

I went for a short walk afterwards, howling gale but at least it didn't rain. It had tipped on the drive home.

Gosh Busy, that is wonderful customer service isn't it? No wonder its one of your favourite eateries. The wind has been blowing a hooley here and I got drenched when I came out of the SM and walked to my car. Jack had asked me to get him some marrowfat peas so I went across as soon as I'd unloaded the car and then headed back home to put everything away.
