Good morning Ruby. Have you got frost then where you are? Handy brother was telling me yesterday that his car has had to have its windscreen cleared the last two days. Seems strange. As yet I - who live further north than handy brother - haven't had any frost. Perhaps I am speaking too soon!

    Good morning all.

We have our first frost in West Dordogne this morning.

We had a good lunch at Son 2's yesterday, roast beef with a selection of roasted root vegetables and Brussels sprouts.

CB is coming this morning to fit iron security bars on the study window. The Insurance companies like you to have shutters but there is a big lilac in the way.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Good morning all,
Thank you to all for your good wishes, we managed quite well, really, and got some hot water bottles which were a blessing. The plumber is due some time today, they’ll ring us just before arrival (any time between 8 am to 6 pm - I’m really hoping it’ll be morning rather than afternoon).
Popping out to meet with friends for coffee shortly and OH will house sit until I get back, then if he needs to go anywhere, I’ll take over the shift when I get back if we’re still waiting.
I enjoyed Scrooge yesterday. I’d not seen the musical version all the way through before. Starting to feel all festive, now 😁.
Your biscuits look very tasty, @Ante1, I’ll join the request for one to be sent down the tunnel please.
No frost here just yet @Busy-Lizzie, but it’s very, very cold and we have frosts and snow showers forecast for this week, brr. I feel so sorry for the poor souls in Ukraine without heating and water, an absolute nightmare for them. I pray for it all to end.
Well, take care everyone. I hope you all have a good Monday.

Morning all. RM fingers crossed you get the leak sorted out today and that he comes sooner rather than later. Good that you got some hot water bottles too.
Need to use the new flat hot metal thing this morning but the sun is shining and tempting me to consider getting the power jet spray out.😬What to do?
    Have a good day everyone,

LB we had a covering of frost this morning . I popped outside and soon came back in . The cold took my breath away .OH is back in bandages . His legs have broken down again . Nurse says this does happen quite a lot before the legs settle down .

Good afternoon all. Postie has been and collected all my mail and my new contact lenses have arrived as well. I had Lily's TV on and as soon as I pegged out the rain clouds started to gather! Grrrr!
Ruby, sorry to hear that your OH is suffering with his legs again. Fingers crossed that they settle down soon.
I'm quizzing myself tonight so will have to record my TV quiz night to save for later.

RedM, glad to hear you managed to survive the night and as I'm writing this I hope that the plumber is in working his magic. Good to read that you enjoyed the musical.
Hazel, did you decide on jet washing? Hope it doesn't freeze tonight though.
