Good morning all. Busy few days again, middle daughter has been very poorly with a bad cold so lots of nanny duties and I have been trying to decorate for Christmas. Wasn’t able to find a real tree I wanted So decided to use my artificial tree took it out of the bag and no stand! Hunted high and low but no sign of it! Managed to order a new stand from the big river site and finally got the tree up yesterday. Got to sort out rest of house today and then going to a works party with fiancΓ© tonight.Β
Hazel sorry to hear little one is poorly hopefully all better by Christmas πŸŽ„Β
  • Morning everyone, sorry not read back. I've been awake since just after 4.
Hope you're all well. Are you all ready for the big festive day, I'm so behind this year, hardly bought a thing. Nobody knows what they want this year. Think it will be a few things to open and money or tokens. Ive some things for the poppets though 😍
Feels chilly this morning, im snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea.Β
Have a lovely Sunday everyone, take care.

Good morning SGL and all to follow.

Nice to see you SGL. Don't worry about presents, small tokens of appreciation are going to be perfectly ok. Poppets are the most important and you already sorted theirs presents. Hope you will have restful day after early start. I'll join you with cup of tea.

As Rosie predicted last night I slept very well and woke up early. Pets and birds are all fed, and it's my tea time. Didn't bake yesterday, but will today. Must try new recipe before Christmas. Here is again cold with wind and rain. This cold period is little bit too long for us.

Wish you all nice and warm Sunday.Β Β

Good morning Debs, SGL and Ante.
Debs, sorry to hear your daughter is poorly and well done you for looking after the small people. I will be getting my dekkies up this week - sometime! Have a lovely time tonight at the works 'do'.
So nice to see you SGL - I think you might need a year to read back and catch up. I agree with Ante, money and gift tokens are the way to go when people have got most things they need. I remember last year when Jack asked me what I would like and he was completely thrown when I told him I would like a new washing up bowl! He and his daughter were happy to have that hint and it was so nice to have my new bowl. Small people are so much easier to buy for. Sorry Ante but men are the worst!
Its good to see the second candle on your wreath lit for the second Sunday. Time is really flying passed.

    Morning debs and LB.

Debs, I'm sorry, I overlooked your post. Also sorry to hear that your daughter is poorly with cold. Hope she gets well soon. I still didn't buy my tree, hope to do that next Friday. Enjoy at party with fiancΓ©, neverminded it's working one. You really deserve some relaxing time.

Oh dear LB. Do you ever bought a present for women, or went to shopping with them. 🀣🀣🀣 Just kidding. To buy present for me is extremely easy, everything related with gardening or books is perfectly fine.

    Morning all.

I've bought presents for my 4 children and OH. Some of my poppets are easy because they want money. I put notes into a Christmas card. The smaller ones want presents, not so easy. I have to wait until parents tell me what they want as in the past there have been duplicates.

We are going to Son1 for lunch today. They have 5 little ones. I'll try to get some ideas.

Off to have a shower and try out the new position of the shower head. It's a corner bath and the plumber put the shower over the seat in the corner. OH has just added another shower support so that I can stand up.
