Evening all. T'Bird, good to hear you have done some major clearance in the garden. The fencers tale is not unusual for any worker these days is it? At least it is giving you a bit of breathing space. Our holiday is only for a week - back on the 18th we will be like you and your OH and cram in lots of visits to some old haunts and some new.
Hazel, sounds as though you have had a busy day but great news that you got your vaccination done and fingers crossed you don't get anything more than a bit of soreness and stiffness.

I'm knackered. The 5 GCs are very cute but did my own 4 make so much noise? We played Monopoly, sort of, didn't finish, think I lost, always landed on the tax man or prison. Did a roast chicken dinner. I think I hate induction hobs and very modern ovens. The boys finished theirs before I finished cutting up Eleonore's so they went off to play while us two girls ate in peace. I have played, read stories, changed nappies,wiped bottoms, washed saucepans, faces and teeth and cleared up the mess.
Off to bed. I hope no one wakes up.

Boy but it is really dark this morning. Just spotted my neighbour's SUV on the drive so they must have got back from France either very late last night or the early hours of this morning.
I have got a lot of loose ends to tie up before my holiday. Cat sitter is organised, packing list is done. Milk is cancelled. Insurance organised and we are all checked in for our flight. What could possibly go wrong???

Here is lovely, sunny and warm morning. I found on tv program about producing tea. Very interesting. Later I'll go out in the garden.
