Good afternoon all. Shock news here - I actually applied the hot metal thing to some cloth stuff! First time in 5 years but don't worry, I had a general anaesthetic first. I was somewhat surprised to see that the sliding cover over the hole where you add water had actually perished in the sunlight coming through the window where I stand the 'thing' and had all crumbled away. I do not think I will be repeating that activity - EVER!
Ante - I never said a thing!  How strange is this though, there was a programme on TV today about an English tea plantation and it was mentioned on there about only the top leaves and bud being used.
When I was at college we used to call tea 'Nectar of the Gods' as it was our favourite hot drink.
Busy, Round 2 of the baby sitting sounds as funny as Round 1. You deserve a medal after all that

Substitute Nutella and add more children!

I'm still wondering how you could hold the hot flat thing while under general anaesthetic  thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon  I actually enjoy that activity, soothing, satisfying, good excuse for watching daytime TV.

Good morning all, had a good day yesterday with fiancé we took his mom and two granddaughters out for lunch (she has them all week while their mom and step dad are on honeymoon)
we haven’t seen much of his family lately so it was good to tick that box so to speak.
We came home and were rewatching The Crown, the episode where Charles is upset because the public all want Diana not him, fiancé was puzzled “ I love taking you anywhere because you chat to everyone and they all love you and so I can relax” was his comment. I felt very flattered.
I only ever babysit one or two grandchildren at a time, I find it lovely but exhausting, and I had 6 of my own! Well done Lizzie!
