Good morning everyone . Good grief LB you sure get a lot of rain where you are. I remember previous years when you had rain nonstop for several weeks .I hope all goes well with your contact appointment. Debs sounds like a very busy day for you .Enjoy you curry this afternoon.
Busy I am pleased that your OH can go back with you to France.Fingers crossed for OH operation in three months time . My OH is getting some relief from his meds.He has grumbling duodenitis , had it for years ,he has to tread carefully with his meds . But it’s such a relief to see his face relax from the stress of coping with the pain . I am having my Covid jab this morning .The docs is just across the road from us . OH has postponed his for a couple of weeks in the hope he feels safe to walk to the docs .

Afternoon all. Ruby, that is more positive news about your OH too. I am glad that those meds are actually now having a therapeutic influence. Long may that continue. Hope that your vaccination went OK. My contact lens appointment went well and following on from my eye test last week and the change in my prescription, new lenses are being ordered for me. They may arrive before the holiday but I'm not particularly concerned about that.

Glad your injection went well @Rubee. So did mine a week ago, just a slightly sore arm, 4th one and I've had Covid too.

Having a quiet day. Back still aches and it has tipped with rain. Though I did walk to the Post Office (now closed down but still has a letter box) to post birthday cards for 2 grandsons. Not a Busy Lizzie today!

Thankyou busy .The young lady that did my injection was avery new healthcare assistant . I hardly felt anything .Sorry your back still aches . It’s rained here most of the day and would you believe it ,it sleeted mid afternoon. The temperature plummeted. It’s going back up again now.

Glad all went well with the vaccination Ruby. Busy, sorry to hear that your back is aching still. It has tipped it down here virtually all day. When I was in town many of the roads were flooded. I suspect that the cause may be that the road drains are clogged with leaves. It is quite cool and breezy here but tomorrow is looking more improved so I might be able to get Lily's TV on for the last time. Fingers crossed.

    Good evening everbody.

Hope you all had a nice day.

I wrote short message this morning but forgot to post it. Now is pointless. It wasΒ  beautiful and warm day, but I had a lot to do. I finally bought new computer, and my colleague (she teach IT science) helped me a lot with advices and explanations. It will arrive tomorrow. Also, tomorrow I have haircut appointment. My new dahlia Spectacle finally bloomed this morning and it was worth to wait for it.

Now is time for little snack and tea.Β

    Evening all.
@Ante1 ,that dahlia really is lovely, I love the colour and white tips. I cut my dahlia down weeks ago as it was doing nothing and was full of mildew. Since then, it's started growing again and now has a couple of buds forming....mad. The foliage is lovely and green with no mildew in sight. Am hoping it just might flower before the frost come. I've made a note,of the name of yours as I really like it.
Oh and I are now feeling " normal" again after the covid jabs. We've been quite wiped out since Sunday but today, the energy levels have returned to normal.
We did pop out this morning but it was very cold and feeling very damp. It's started raining this afternoon. We're about ready for a little trip, are you ready for yours LB?
