Not too bad 4 lots of turmeric in the bin and a whole spice carousel bought as a gift and hardly used now out of date. Our tip has a selling area so that can go there.
Also found 3 ( used) sandwich toasters given to fiancé by his mother. We already have a sandwich toaster.
Debs, sounds as if you've got a little bit more spare space now! Ive cut down /pruned the crocossmia this afternoon and trimmed the pittosporum and had a tidy round in the greenhouse. Have got a bag of stuff ready to go to a charity shop tomorrow as well as needing to get some last minute bits and bobs before going away. I am going to sign out now for a few days folks, going to be busy tomorrow, so will catch up with you all when we return home. Have a lovely weekend, LB, safe journey on Monday and hope you have a thoroughly enjoyable time in France.
A very good morning one and all. Sorry I didn't get time to catch up and say goodnight to you all. We had a super time at the pub and then when we got home my friend from Crewe asked me to help her arrange her holiday insurance for her as she is not very techie. Got all that sorted for her and then we just put the world to rights. Watch GW and were enchanted by the new addition - Ned, Monty's new puppy who was an absolute joy to watch - digging holes in the borders and eating as many plants as Monty let him get hold over. We then laughed all the way through HIGNFY. Friend is still asleep upstairs but I'm watching the Women's Rugby World Cup. England are pasting Fiji.
Ruby, how are the cushion covers? Are they to your liking or are you a bit disappointed?
Debs, you have done a great job sorting your cupboards. That is a job on my 'to do' list.
Hazel, yes, friend stayed over last night and we actually go Tuesday - at the crack of dawn! I hope that your trip runs smoothly and that you have a lovely time with your Mum.
Busy I hope that you manage to see some new grass seedlings very soon.
Forgot to say that we had a massive hailstorm here yesterday after we got back from the pub!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning everyone. LB I am so pleased that you had a good time yesterday. Gosh LB you had a hailstorm and we had sleet this week. Yesterday the road in front of our house was like a river . It rained for hours .The cushion covers are lovely LB .Not to everyone’s taste as they have pics of cats on every one . I was concerned because the package was very light .When I opened it I understood why. The fabric is light weight but as stated in the ad’ (good quality and tough ).
Morning all. Sunny and bright and a lot less windy than yesterday. Just right 'cos we're about to take some friends for an hour's whizz round in a little aeroplane. It's her birthday, something she's always wanted to do and he's paying for it as a birthday treat. Looking forward to it. SYL👋
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

@debs64 I didn't think I had too many herbs and spices until I moved house! A lot of way past sell by date little bottles got thrown away.
I'll do a bit more seeding of bare lawn patches today. Sunny at the moment.

Glad you had a good time at the pub LB. I haven't seen GW yet. Looking forward to seeing the new puppy. I had a Border Collie called Ned.
We are going to the church Harvest Supper this evening.
