Good morning Busy. Oh my goodness but that has been a long time and I sincerely hope that there is some positive news for your OH today. Got everything here crossed for you both.

Good morning all. Cloudy here but dry. Day off and I have a massage and facial booked. Pleased OH had a better night @Rubee long may it continue. Fingers crossed for @Busy-Lizzie for a result today. I too am enjoying a cuppa in bed.Β
Debs, I forgot to answer your question about the hot metal. Yes, I decided I would use it but obviously the packing will undo most of that so I'm not sure what persuaded me it might be a good idea!

Thank you for your good wishes for OH's appointment. It started with yet another Xray. The surgeon said it was very bad, the state of his hip. He said the earliest he can do the operation is January and he also said that OH can come back to France with me and stay for Christmas. He has put OH on the urgent list which is roughly 3 months. I just hope it all goes smoothly this time. We have booked a flight back on the 1st November as OHhas another check-up with the lung consultant, just a follow up, on the 28th October.
We went to Sainsbugs on the way home. Salmon for dinner, my favourite fish, with leeks and sugar snap peas, I'll make a sauce, then Sainsbugs lemon tart which is really nice and lemony.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning all. The Crescent is running with rain water - true to forecast and I've got to go out for a contact lens apointment - deep joy!
Busy, a little glimpse of positivity there regarding your OH but January still seems a long way off. How lovely that both of you can go to spend Christmas in France. All that log stacking you did earlier will come in very useful. Your meal, as ever, sounds delicious!
Busy, I think people were - as your name states - busy yesterday. Sometimes there are just loads of things to do in and around the house and garden.

Good morning all. Lovely autumnal picture LB. we too will be busy this morning clearing garage out Fiance is on a mission he has hired a unit and wants to store all the stuff from his hog roast business in there so itβs a massive clear out this week. A trip to the tip is also on the cards.Β
I have work later and going for a βwork curryβ afterwards.Β
@Busy-Lizzie fingers crossed that this can finally be sorted out for you both.Β
Good morning Debs. Wow you are going to be busy today. I'm guessing that the hog roast gear is in the garage at the moment and is being shifted to the unit? I am about ready for another tip trip but it can wait until after my holiday.
I got a phone call from the surgery yesterday asking me to make an appointment for a telephone consultation with the Doc regarding my BP. The receptionist told me it would be at least a fortnight off - which fits in with the holiday so it will be 09:30 on 24th October. Maybe I will find out then what it all means.

I'm glad your OH had a better night @Rubee. I hope that means that you slept well too.
We slept well. I was very tired last night.
This morning we are going to see OH's surgeon. I hope there is a result. Nearly a year ago that we last saw him and he said the op was urgent then.
