Looks like we’ve got thunder set in for the morning … and some wetness for most of the day … but then it should be fairly ok for the weekend. Hopefully they wont all get washed out and turn up on our doorstep …

Morning all, we are not shoplifters after all, OH has checked again and yes he did pay for that item!
We have had some rain this morning @tui but not enough to do much good, it's very overcast and oppressive. Now to pick more tomatoes and make some soup for the freezer.

Morning all,  we have rain,  nice steady rain, no thunder here. The waterbuts are full again and I have filled the watering cans as well.  😁

We now have some proper rain ... not stair-rods that means it runs off the surface and floods down on the bottom way; we're getting good rain that is wetting the leaves and soaking into the grass and soil ... 🙏

Morning all. A glorious morning here, wall to wall blue skies and sunshine, but very chilly and so very cold last night. Beautiful scenery @Pat E I can understand why you enjoy watching the cycling so much. Glad your day with Charlie went so well DD, exciting times but touched with a little sadness as well I expect. Another precious day with your g/children Hosta, I hope you are not intending to travel home anytime over the bank holiday weekend, the traffic will be chaotic. Hope the weather holds for your son's activities Dove and that you dont see him (or any other followers) unless for a quick shower and some of Mum's super homemade food.
Have a lovely day forkers whatever you are doing.

    Morning all.

We have heavy rain! Hurray! 😁 no thunder so far.

    Glad you aren't shoplifters @floralies!

We are going to the SM and to a local pub for lunch. We went to a pretty community village pub for a beer last night and the chap behind the bar said it was being sold. Not making ends meet as a community pub. Our local is for sale and so is a pub we like that does good food near Diss.

I didn't do any gardening yesterday as knee hurt. Had a restful day.

Lucky you @Busy-Lizzie and others with that steady rain.  Oh for a bit of that here, but it is not forecast.  We miss it every time.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

You seem to be like us over there @tui34, when I look on the radar it shows rain heading our way and then there seems to be a parting of the ways and it goes either side of us. What we had this morning enabled OH to pull up a few weeds!

What was a small courgette yesterday is now a huge marrow ... and of course, the tomatoes are splitting ... 🤣
