@Lizzie27 Ā  If it were me, then I would make OH wait inside until you get back. Ā One missed walk isn't going to hurt him, but a fall might put him right back to square one and another hip operation. Ā Take it easy. Ā Walking is the best physio. Ā Can you do the walk when you return from tea?

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

Couldn't get a kettle from OH's work after all ... they've discontinued selling them but he was pretty sure there was one in the stock room ... but it's disappeared.Ā  I've ordered one from A**zon ... (they had a deal on and they keep wanting me to take out Prime again, so keep trying to tempt me with goodies)Ā  :D

Had a wonderful walk, almost too warm at times for me. Took a cardie in case, but it spent the walk tied round my waist. By 12.30 it had clouded over, although no rain to be seen. Not sure what will be happening re the Red Arrows air display in Sidmouth this evening I feel the cloud doesn’t clear. We aren’t going down to see it, the traffic and parking is chaotic and lots of drivers getting fractious when they get stuck in the narrow pinchpoints. I might watch on the webcam.

OH told me that he thought I wouldn’t get any gardening done this afternoon, but then realised that all the rain he had been seeing was at the Formula 1 circuit in Belgium! He must have got really immersed in what he was watching! Reminded me of when we saw the first ā€˜Blade Runner’ film, and came out of the cinema expecting to walk into a relentless downpour and got very disorientated when it was a dry and pleasant evening outside.

If you have to pay postage on an Amazon item, Ā it’s work taking the Prime trial, Ā it’s very easy to cancel, Ā they obviously don’t hold against you, Ā you’ll be offered another one next month.

Has anyone been to Lidl this week, Ā I ventured there yesterday for the first time since the first lockdown, ( very brave), Ā  Anyway, Ā they have a gorgeous selection of grasses, all in flower, Ā big pots, Ā I think they are 5.99.Ā

It was but I found it wasn't hardy in my garden when I bought it last time they had the offer.... Panicum I adore and seem to do well...I may look in the Felixstowe store to see if there are any there!
