    Pixel enjoying the morning sun.

Hopefully, today will be a slightly calmer day. Our son brought Hubby back from Canberra, stayed the night and left early this morning. Ho hum. Love a quiet day.

I’ve got the washing machine working and it might stay sunny. 👏👏

Those spuds look very tempting Allotment Boy.   Well done .  Also impressed with olives.

I’ve hung five loads of washing out today and the last one was with our towels are on the last spin. The problem now is that at 3.30pm, the clothes line is in shadow. One of the disadvantages of living on the side of a hill. 🤬 The other side of the valley is in full sun.
Oh well, I’ll probably resort to the tumble dryer for finishing off some of the clothes.  Thinking about it. Our power bill that we received last week was over $1000. 😳🤬. So much for providing the power company with our solar contribution.

Morning everyone,  I  am not as creaky as I feared, but I  admit to resorting to some ibuprofen last night. I don't like doing it but sometimes needs must.
Crumbs @Pat E that's a big bill what period does that cover?  We are all debating this issue here at the moment as our prices are jumping up.

Our power bills are Quarterly, Allotment Boy. We are a bit disgusted with the way they don’t pay us much for the generated solar power we give them. I’m sure it used to be more.

    Good morning all!

Sunny and warm again - not a hint of autumn, here - sheesh!

On the way to the ophthalmologist yesterday, I just happened to go past the nursery where I buy my plants -  oooh!  So I popped in on my way back and lo and behold, there were lots of lovely veggie plants waiting just for me!    Brassicas as some lettuces for autumn.   Aaah - feeling better as it seems that I have the beginnings of Age-Related Macular Degeneration - the retina is stuffed!  Yearly visits are now on the cards.

Here is a photo of a couple of jars of my olives.

Enjoy the sunshine while you can.
