I'm glad @Lizzie27 and @chicky enjoyed their holidays and that @floralies son's op went well.

It has been raining and only 15° in Dordogne today.

We've been to a huge DIY place about half an hour's drive away. OH thoroughly enjoyed it and we bought various bits and pieces, including a battery operated Stihl strimmer that I think I may be able to manage. Our local DIY place was shut, having been damaged by the hail tornado. The fire brigade are still putting tarpaulins on rooves. There is so much damage in the local town. It will take months to repair the rooves.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Evening everyone. Plenty of holidays, trips and outings going on with you all.

Eight days to go until my next week off work. I’m hoping the warm spell forecast for next week will roll over to my week off.

Just seeing out the tennis, then bedtime. I think they can play until 22:59 should they need too which would be officially way past my bedtime on a ‘school’ night.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

I’ve just watched the end of the Draper match in bed on my iPad … now it’s time to read and sleep … night night all … it’s July tomorrow… how did that happen …?
